SMC Pneumatics has announced the launch of a new series of high resistant tubing, made from FEP (polyfluoroethylene propropylene), for harsh chemical environments and high temperatures. Designated series TH, this tubing can operate with air or inert gas temperatures ranging between 20 to 200C, and with water temperatures between 0 and 100C. Available in a choice of four colours, and with eight size variations from 4 to 12mm, the tubing can be used with various types of SMC fittings, such as high purity Fluoropolymer (series LQ), one touch (KQ2/KJ), miniature (M, MS) and insert (KF).

This series can be used in many applications, ranging from medical, semiconductor, automotive, food and general pneumatics.
